Once structural reinforcement and reshaping had taken place MCH began installation of topsoil on the site, to provide a uniform 4 inches of high quality black organic topsoil.

After installation of topsoil the area was seeded with supplied riverbank seed mixture, and the installation of Anti-Wash Geo-Jute began.

The Geo-Jute was secured with 6 inch fastening pins at a installation rate of 4 pins per square meter to insure proper securemend during flood conditions of the Red River.

Upon installation, 12 inch diameter straw wattles were trenched and installed to prevent any sediment run-off to the river before full vegetation establishment.
